Data in Equity Work
I use data to support equity-focused institutional change by examining how research practices can either reinforce or challenge systemic inequities. My work draws from QuantCrit perspectives, emphasizing disaggregated data, contextualized interpretation, and community-centered approaches to ensure that data is used to elevate historically marginalized voices rather than erase them.

Survey Development and Analyses
I specialize in survey research and data analysis, creating both high-level infographics and comprehensive reports that support informed decision-making.
Below are two examples of my work at Fullerton College. The infographic provides a snapshot of key findings and trends in a visual format for broad campus audiences, whereas the detailed reports were developed using quantitative research and data visualization methods to provide deeper analysis, contextualize findings, and support institutional planning and decision-making.

While at San Bernardino Valley College (2022-25), I also analyzed surveys on basic needs, enrollment decisions, and mental health. These survey reports resulted in data-informed initiatives to better the student experience, such as but not limited to the creation of a physical space for LGBTQ+ students.
I have additionally developed and conducted surveys on internal institutional issues, such as to evaluate events or programs.
Strategic Enrollment Management
As part of Strategic Enrollment Management initiatives, I developed holistic student profiles designed to help the college better understand the students it serves. By integrating demographic, academic, and contextual data, this work supported more inclusive planning, equity-focused conversations, and student-centered decision-making.
